Career objective I am motivated to establish and run a fully functional laboratory in the field of nano-science and nanotechnology as a research supervisor in future. I strongly believe that my past experience will be beneficiated the student towards teaching and research activities, as well as it will help to upgrade my concepts and skills in my field of interest.
Current position I have completed my Ph.D degree under supervision of Prof. Asoke Prasun Chattopadhyay, Department of Chemistry, University of Kalyani, Kalyani Nadia,West Bengal , India. I am still continuing my research work in the same laboratory.
Research experience
  1. Preparation and characterization of Fe3O4 nanoparticle deposited graphene oxide nanocomposite materials made of catalytic application (synthesis of propargylamines from aldehyde, amine and alkyne (the so-called A3 coupling reaction) under solvent free condition).
  2. Synthesis and characterization of copper nanoparticle deposited graphene oxide nanocomposite material made of catalytic application and biological activity.
  3. Synthesis and characterization of silver nanoparticle deposited graphene oxide nanocomposite and it used for the synthesis of amide from acyalation reaction of amine under solvent free condition.
  4. Preparation and characterization of a graphene like carbon nanosheet made of interaction of some drug molecule and tested anticancer activities.
  5. Synthesis and characterization of GO-APTES-Cu (II) Schiff base complex made of efficient heterogeneous catalyst for aerobic decarboxylation reaction of phenylacetic acids.
  6. Synthesis and characterization of some functionalized graphene oxide and graphene based nanocomposites materials made of adsorption of Arsenic species or removal of highly toxic metal from contaminated water.
  7. Synthesis and analyzed of Copper nanoparticles made of nanocatalyst ( C-S coupling)
  8. Preparation and characterization of SnO2 nanoparticle deposited graphene Oxide nanocomposite material for esterification.
